There is a wide range of training and event opportunities available to BNI members both regionally, nationally andinternationally, following you will find the Training & Events Schedule for2010, if you have any queries please contact our regional office at office@bni.ie

How to book:

Each chapter has an events co-ordinator, please ensure that you book yourtrainings through this person, they are responsible for the co-ordination oftraining in the chapter and are the point of contact for the BNI regional office. They have a section in theagenda and will be using this weekly to update members on upcoming trainings. Allbookings are made by the events co-ordinators to the regional office at office@bni.ie. Any queries please contact theregional office on 094 9021553.

Timings andwhat to bring:

There is a registration and open networking time allotted to each of thetrainings, this is a great opportunity to meet other members and network.Trainings will begin and end promptly at the times noted on the schedule.

Bring your BNI name badgeand plenty of business cards to each training, some trainings requireadditional items however you will be notified of this in advance. There is astandard €10 charge to cover refreshments and meeting room hire. This ispayable at registration.

MembersSuccess Training

This training helps all members understand the essential and keystructures which are so powerful for helping the member make more money andgrow their business through BNI.  It is a great refresher training and membersshould attend this training after every two years in BNI,it is compulsory for new members in their first three months.  New members should be booked onto thistraining by their Chapter Director at their New Member’s Orientation in thesame meeting that they receive their new member’s pack.

Leadership Handover Training

Every six monthsthe Leadership Team, Membership Committee, Visitor Hosts, Events Co-ordinatorand Education Co-ordinator come together to set goals, plan their term andtrain on how to complete their role. 

Leadership Team Forum

During their term thisis a unique opportunity for leadership teams to come together, network andexchange ideas. Leadership teams review their goals together and plan for therest of their term. Following the success of previous forums there will be twoduring this term.

SkillsWorkshops

Every eight weeksthere are skills workshops available for BNImembers, these workshops have been specifically designed by the EuropeanTraining Team to develop members’ skills and enable them to use the structuresof BNI more effectively to giveand gain more referrals.

Presentations Skills Workshop

Improve your 60seconds, 10 minutes and 1-2-1communication and presentations to maximise the business you get from yourchapter and the referrals you are able to give to your fellow chaptermembers.  Get the most out of yourcommunications it will help to get your message across so that you are usingyour time effectively and productively.

Referral Skills Workshop

This workshopfocuses on easy action you can take during the week to make sure you have lotsof quality referrals for your fellow members. What to do to ensure you aregetting the referrals you want and a host of creative ways of bringing newbusiness to your fellow chapter members.

Power Team Workshop

Members receivemost of their referrals from people in the same power team as themselves. Thisworkshop shows you how to gain from this multiplier effect of being in a powerteam and ensure that there are members in your chapter to give to you. Come tothis workshop to learn how to harness the power of the power team to make sureyou can more easily find referrals for your fellow members and gain referralsin your chapter.

1-2-1 Workshop

This workshopensures you make the most of your private meetings with other members. Whatagenda is going to create the most opportunities for you? Where and how oftenis it best to have these meetings. 1-2-1 meetings will help you to buildrelationships and trust with your fellow members making the process of referralgenerating faster and easier. Work smarter not harder.

Networking Skills Workshop

Managing your timeeffectively at networking events, and getting the results you really want arewhat this workshop is all about. Are you spending time at networking events?Are you using that time to the best advantage? What are your networking goalsand is your networking generating the level of results you want? This workshopwill help you to get in and out of conversations, maximise your time whilenetworking and make sure your time is well spend achieving the desired resultsfor your business.

Regional &International Events

For Members

Regional eventsand members days give Irish members an opportunity to network outside theirregion and listen to quality speakers give expert tips on networking andreferrals. There is a National Member’s day (date to be confirmed) where thefounder and chairman of BNI Dr Ivan Misner will be the key note speaker, thisevent is designed especially for members who want to network at a higher leveland learn more about how to produce results for their business through BNI.

For Directors

The EuropeanConference is open to Assistant and Area Directors. It gives directors theopportunity to network at a European level, learn new ways to support membersand help members to generate more business through BNI. There are a highcalibre of speakers and workshops to guide and support directors, giving thembest practise Europe-wide to share with the members in the region.
