Founded in 2009 our three core services are: Quantity Surveying; Project Management and Building Maintenance.
Our Quantity Surveying service includes: Tendering; Estimating; Cost Planning; Pre & Post Contract Qs; Valuations; Procurement advice; Alternative cost solutions; Feasibility budgets. We also offer Bank Services such as Feasibility reports; Monthly drawdown reports; Detailed project Costings; Progress reports with variations and Profitability reports. For the Insurance sector we offer valuation of property claims.
Our Project Management service includes: Initial Cost Reports; Advice on Procurement; Tendering of design consultants and Sub Contracts; Monitoring of Works in progress; Monthly bank valuations; Monthly payment claims; Budget management & control; Final account & Handover.
Our Building Maintenance service includes: Planned building maintenance for single & multiple units; Budget planning for on-going maintenance; Call-out Service for all trades; Tendering of maintenance contracts; Co-ordination of trades; Preparation of estimates for insurance claims.
The Company has two principal partners, Stuart Parnell and Gary Doherty, who together have a combined experience of over 28 years in the construction industry. This experience spans across the three core services that the company offers.
Gary Doherty has 16 years experience in procurement and project management. Having spent considerable time as procurement manager with a leading joinery firm, he brings a wealth of knowledge in cost management, purchasing, cost analysis and project management. His experience gained during his time with a building contractor has honed his ability to adapt to a changing environment, where circumstances can change at short notice. It is during the construction stage of projects that budgets can change in priority. Clients require cost solutions to these changing circumstances and require advice and alternatives in order to make correct decisions. These decisions must be made quickly and precisely. Gary has the experience to provide that information, thus creating solutions to demands placed on construction budgets throughout the life of the project.
Stuart Parnell has obtained vast experience from working in the construction sector over the last 12 years. His career started with a maintenance contractor in London where experience in the three basic requirements of a construction project: Time, Cost, and Quality were tested on the maintenance of Marks & Spencer stores in south London. He has spent over 10 years working as a senior quantity surveyor and project manager with a Galway based property developer. He has worked at all levels of the business and can operate competently in all of them. His knowledge base spans from: the pre and post contract stage of government projects to; tendering sub-contracts and suppliers; land acquisition; feasibility reports for financial institutions; dispute resolution and expert witness roles. He can draw on all of these past experiences to the benefit of the client, assisting and creating solutions to the benefit of the client’s project.
